Griffith Observatory | Family Exploring

"The universe is a pretty big place.  If it's just us seems like an awful waste of space." ~ Carl Sagan

The wee one and I along with my brother and nephew visited Griffith Observatory last weekend.  I had not been there since I was a child myself.  I remember the observatory being MUCH bigger.  I wonder what it felt like to my wee one.

We spent about 2 hours there.  We saw as much as we could see and even looked through telescopes that the observatory set up outside.  We were able to see Venus, a star cluster and Orion Nebula which is about 1,350 light years away!

Next time I in Los Angeles hopefully we can go back so we can look through the BIG telescope!
